ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Nicole D. Matthews was born and raised in Memphis, TN, where she currently resides. She attended and graduated with honors from Rust College in Holly Springs, MS. Nicole serves as an associate minister, intercessor, teacher, choir member, and choir director at Elam Baptist Church (The Best Kept Secret in Lauderdale County) in Ripley, TN.

 

Nicole is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and an avid collector and music lover. Her elephants, wax albums, and bible collection, which cover various themes, are her prized possessions. Nicole's first journal, Pray with Me: An Inspirational Prayer Journal is based on a prayer method she created to instruct the youth under her charge.

 

She is the mother of two beautiful children – Cleavon (CJ) and her namesake – Nicole (Danielle).
